We are a  boutique UK based firm providing legal services to businesses and private clients. 

We are a Bar Standards Board regulated entity (‘BSB Authorised Body’), run and owned by barristers practicing at the Bar of England and Wales.  

 We provide legal services through the company and can be instructed in a manner similar to a traditional law firm but with the limitations imposed on barristers by our regulator (see ‘What we do’). We provide strictly legal services to high net worth clients, parliamentarians, governments, businesses, family offices and sovereign wealth funds. 

We have expertise in advising and/or representing clients in the following areas:

1. Commercial law;

2. Public law; 

3. Private client law;

4. International law (public and private);

5. Business and Company law; 

6. Business Crime and Fraud, including its intersection with commercial law and fraud investigations;

7. Alternative Dispute Resolution (Arbitration and Mediation);

8. Governance (including the drafting of governing documents);

9. Due diligence from a legal perspective. 

 We put together a bespoke legal team to suit each client's needs, offering unrivalled  excellence and value for money.   

  We are not a traditional solicitor’s firm. 

As such, we cannot conduct litigation for clients (ie, undertake the administrative tasks associated with bringing a matter to court - such as accepting service or filing court documents on behalf of our clients).  This is not the same as representing a client in court or through the litigation process as Counsel, which obviously we can do.

In addition, we cannot hold client money on account. 

For our clients, this is not usually an issue.

  We charge fees using either the traditional hourly rate model or on a project by project basis depending on what works best with the client and the nature of the work. We are also able to undertake ongoing work on a retainer basis.    Furthermore, in certain circumstances we can take work on a Conditional Fee Arrangement and for trials, we may charge Brief Fees and Refreshers for our Counsel.  Please do contact us for further information about any of our pricing structures.

Fee structures for hourly rates are as follows: 

1. Senior Legal (Directors/Partners, Senior lawyers): £600- £1200/hr

2. Senior Associates: £400-£650/hr

3. Associates: £200-£400/hr

4. Trainees: £100-£200/hr

5. Paralegals: £50-£200/hr (dependant on experience and qualifications)

We structure our fees based on the nature of the work and the experience and level of expertise required. We are able to offer discounted rates in certain circumstances.
