We are a Bar Standards Board regulated entity (‘BSB Authorised Body’), run and owned by barristers practicing at the Bar of England and Wales.
We provide legal services through the company and can be instructed in a manner similar to a traditional law firm but with the limitations imposed on barristers by our regulator (see ‘What we do’). You can find us on the BSB's Entities Register here : Register of BSB entities (barstandardsboard.org.uk) The Register shows all entities currently authorised by the BSB.
You can also find our barristers on the Barrister's Register here: The Barristers' Register (barstandardsboard.org.uk) The Barrister's Register lists those with a current practicing certificate and whether any disciplinary findings have been made against them. No disciplinary findings have ever been made against us. The Barrister's Register also links to the Entities Register.
We are insured by the Bar Mutual Indemnity Fund (BMIF) for the legal services we provide in accordance with our professional obligations. You can find out more about the Bar Mutual Indemnity Fund (BMIF) here: About Bar Mutual - Bar Mutual

In addition, we cannot hold client money on account.
For our clients, this is not usually an issue.
